ACM removal involves more than taking down the visible panels. The existing cladding system may include support rails, fixings, insulation, membranes, cavity barriers and fire stopping, all of which need to be considered during removal.
The extent of removal will depend on the existing construction, the remediation requirements and what is intended to remain or be replaced.

ACM panels form only one part of an external wall system. Behind them may be insulation, membranes, support rails, cavity barriers, fire stopping and other components.
Removal is therefore planned to safely expose the underlying construction while protecting components that are to remain.
Where required, our dedicated survey team, Trident Facades Surveys, can undertake investigation and opening-up to establish the existing construction and condition.
Once the ACM has been removed, the exposed façade can be assessed and prepared for the replacement system.
