Performance standards. Fire classification, thermal performance, weather resistance and structural requirements the finished system must meet.
Installation methodology. How the system should be fitted, including sequencing at junctions and compartment lines where fire stopping integrity depends on installation order.
Quality and inspection criteria. What “correctly installed” actually means at each stage, so quality assurance during construction has something concrete to check against.
Preliminaries and site-specific requirements. Access constraints, occupied-building working practices, and anything specific to the building that a generic specification would miss.
